Resource Center Volunteers
OMNI Youth Services has two multicultural Community Resource Centers in Prospect Heights and Wheeling. The centers work primarily with low-income families, provide services that address basic immediate needs, promote self-sufficiency and increase participation in the community. All of our programs are designed to give parents and youth the skills they need to build healthy and successful families.
- Resource Center Tutors / Resource Center Aids
Help youth with their homework one-on-one as a Resource Center Tutor or help youth in a group setting with homework and projects, as well as assisting in computer training as a Resource Center Aid.
Volunteer Commitment: Minimum of one hour a week for one school year
