Giving To OMNI

Since 1972, OMNI Youth Services has been a leader in providing life-changing counseling and prevention services to at-risk youth and families.

Through an experiential approach that supports learning through doing, OMNI programs provide a unique and effective way for youth and families to develop strengths and build skills they can use for a lifetime.

OMNI’s financial support from generous individuals, corporations, and foundations are vital to addressing the needs of OMNI’s continued growth and development. By giving to OMNI, you are touching thousands of lives and making a lasting contribution towards a better world. Your gift guarantees that OMNI will continue to explore and provide innovative programming which will have a direct and lasting impact upon the youth and families we serve.

Ways of Giving

Cash Donations

OMNI appreciates gifts of any size. Donors may choose to contribute by cash, check or credit card.

Stocks, Bonds or Real Estate

A contribution of appreciated stocks or property allows you to receive a tax deduction and usually avoid capital gains taxes on the appreciation.

Tribute/Memorial Gifts

A gift in honor or in memory of those who have touched your life is a special way of demonstrating your admiration, love and values. Consider a birthday or anniversary tribute as an expression of caring. A memorial gift to OMNI is a meaningful and lasting expression of sympathy. OMNI will send notification of your gift to the honoree or family. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.

Planned Gifts/ Wills and Bequests

A planned gift vehicle allows you to donate via trust, annuity, insurance policy, or, most commonly, a bequest through your will. Even though these gifts will not be received by OMNI during the donor’s lifetime, immediate benefits to the donor might include tax savings, additional income for life, and the satisfaction of helping to assure a sound future for OMNI Youth Services. Before naming OMNI in your will or considering another kind of planned gift, consult with an attorney or financial advisor to explore what type of planned gift is best suited for you and your family.

Corporate Sponsorships

OMNI’s Development Department coordinates several special events which offer a variety of sponsorship levels for every size business. Event sponsorships provide marketing opportunities for businesses that enhance company philanthropic values, increase brand awareness, and yield valuable client cultivation. Your affiliation with the largest and most comprehensive youth development organization serving the northwest suburbs will raise your visibility to the thousands of people that receive OMNI publications and special events materials throughout the year.

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match, double, or even triple your personal philanthropic contributions. After determining if your employer has a matching gift program, acquire a matching gift form (usually through Human Resources), and send it to OMNI along with your gift. OMNI’s development office will submit the form to your company’s matching gift department.

Board of Ambassadors

OMNI’s Board of Ambassadors is comprised of dedicated individuals who share OMNI’s commitment to our mission to develop responsible youth and strengthen families. BOA membership offers opportunities for active involvement with the organization, along with making an annual commitment to contribute a minimum of $1500 in support of OMNI’s mission.
