It isn’t easy growing up in the 21st century.

Both children and parents struggle at times with actions taken and decisions made that impact short and long term futures. Even families living in your neighborhood may endure situations involving drugs, gangs, family conflict, neglect and abuse, emotional issues, crime and violence. Bad decisions sparked by bad behaviors or any number of circumstances may take their toll on even the strongest of families.

It’s at these trying moments when OMNI Youth Services operates at its best – providing counseling, services and programming needs for children and parents who may have no where else to turn. OMNI believes all youth deserve a fighting chance to display their areas of brilliance while working through individual circumstances and situations.

One of the greatest challenges in life is overcoming obstacles and setbacks. We all have experienced them at one time or another in our lives. Some of us have overcome tremendous difficulties in our lives. Do you have a remarkable success story? Did you grow up with challenging or adverse circumstances? Did you face circumstances of poverty, addiction, foster home, ward of the state, single parent home, parental illness, trauma, parental abandonment or death, abuse or neglect, other forms of victimization, immigration, physical or mental disabilities, delinquency, gang involvement, teen parent, emotional disorders, chronic physical health challenges, natural disasters, etc.?
