The annual Heritage 5 K run/3 K walk starts in the historic Business District of Long Grove, takes participants over winding country roads and returns. Split times are given at the 1 & 2 mile marks. Water and aid stations are provided.
A free pancake breakfast is offered by the Rotary Club for all registered participants from 8:30 am – 11:00 am. Guests may join the breakfast – $6 for adults and $3 for children under 5.
Trophies and awards are given five deep in all age/gender categories and to the overall male and female runners (based on CARA guidelines). Walkers will each receive a participation ribbon. Fee is $23 per walker and $28 per runner.
