Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery Program

OMNI tailors individual, family and group services to specifically address the issues of youth who are striving to become drug-free. We understand the importance of family relationships and the adolescent’s home environment. Because these issues play a significant role in helping an adolescent recover from substance abuse, family counseling groups are an integral part of the youth’s recovery program.

Our substance abuse services include:

  • Drug and Alcohol Evaluations:

OMNI licensed professional staff offer a comprehensive substance abuse assessment and provide clinical diagnosis and individualized treatment planning for the youth and their family.

  • Drug Testing Services:

We use frequent and random alcohol and other drug screening tests. Staff conduct urinalysis tests to assess a service recipient’s current substance use, monitor progress and provide an objective method of accountability to reflect client progress to referral sources and/or parents.

  • Basic Outpatient Services (BOP):

This program aims to increase responsibility, manage risk and reduce harm through systematic treatment approaches to address adolescent substance abuse.

The Seven Challenges

1. We decided to open up and talk honestly about ourselves and about alcohol and other drugs.

2. We looked at what we liked about alcohol and other drugs, and why we were using them.

3. We looked at our use of alcohol or other drugs to see if it has caused harm or could cause harm.

4. We looked at our responsibility and the responsibility of others for our problems.

5. We thought about where we seemed to be headed, where we wanted to go, and what we wanted to accomplish.

6. We made thoughtful decisions about our lives and about our use of alcohol and other drugs.

7. We followed through on our decisions about our lives and drug use. If we saw problems, we went back to earlier challenges and mastered them.

The Seven Challenges® program is designed specifically for substance-abusing and substance-dependent adolescents. The program aims to motivate a decision and commitment to change. Once such decisions and commitments are made, the program guides young people toward success in implementing the desired changes. Seven Challenges simultaneously helps young people address their drug problems as well as their co-occurring life skill deficits, situational problems and psychological problems. Interested in attending? Fill out our online form!

The challenges provide a framework for helping youth think through their own decisions and their use of alcohol and other drugs. Counselors using the Seven Challenges program teach youth to identify and work on the issues most relevant to them. As youth discuss the issues that matter most, counselors seamlessly integrate the following challenges as part of the conversation:
